I wrote/drew this in the middle of the first severe manic episode I had ever experienced. It captures my thoughts and paradoxical broken thinking at the time perfectly. Its embarrassing but I want to share it because its real and I meant it. It's an expression of the chaos in my mind at that time in my life and perhaps someone can relate to it and know that they are not alone in their thoughts no matter how bizarre they may feel at the time This is a hard read. Not because the text is bad but the meaning behind it literally makes no sense. Or all the sense in the world. Around 2020 I was so obsessed with Taoism and the idea of acting without thought that I overthought myself into a form of madness. Every thought had its own equal counterpart and some form of underlying unity. Do nothing and leave nothing undone is true Taoism but I took that far too literally and did nothing but sit there staring at the ceiling lost in "deep" thought thinking I had figured it all out.
